Ai Non-Technical Course

AI for Sales

Learn how AI can assist prospecting, sales communication, proposal development, follow-up, and pipeline productivity.

Course Overview

AI for Sales is a practical course that shows sales professionals how to use artificial intelligence to improve prospecting, customer communication, follow-up, proposal preparation, account planning, and pipeline productivity. The course is designed for users with no technical background and focuses on everyday sales situations where AI can save time, improve message quality, and support more consistent customer engagement. Participants learn how AI can assist with researching industries, preparing discovery questions, drafting outreach messages, personalizing follow-ups, summarizing customer conversations, and organizing next actions.

The programme introduces prompt-writing techniques that help participants obtain clearer and more relevant results. Learners practise providing customer context, defining the purpose of a message, selecting the right tone, and asking AI to produce structured outputs such as call plans, email sequences, objection-handling ideas, and meeting summaries. Practical exercises may include creating a first-contact message, improving a weak sales email, preparing questions for a customer meeting, drafting a quotation cover note, and developing a follow-up plan after a sales presentation.

The course also explores how AI can support sales managers. Examples include creating coaching questions, identifying common reasons for lost opportunities, preparing weekly pipeline summaries, organizing customer feedback, and building simple account review templates. Participants are reminded that AI recommendations should support, not replace, customer understanding, commercial judgement, and relationship-building skills.

Responsible use is covered throughout the programme. Learners discuss the importance of protecting customer information, checking facts, avoiding misleading claims, maintaining brand standards, and ensuring that final communication sounds natural and accurate. The course highlights the risks of generic automation, over-personalization, incorrect product information, and sending AI-generated content without review.

By the end of the course, participants should be able to use AI tools to prepare faster, communicate more effectively, and manage sales activities more consistently. The programme is suitable for sales executives, business development teams, account managers, sales coordinators, customer relationship personnel, entrepreneurs, and managers who want to strengthen sales productivity while preserving trust and professional judgement.
